Generally speaking, aromatherapy is a  system of caring for the body with botanical oils. These essential oils can be added to a bath, massaged onto the skin, inhaled directly, used with teas, or scented in a room. Aromatherapy is intended to relieve pain, care for the skin, and alleviate tension and fatigue.

True aromatherapy uses the botanical and naturally fragrant essential oils, the essence, of plants, flowers, trees and herbs as a healing art to achieve health, vitality and rejuvenation of the body, mind and spirit.

Aromatherapy refreshes and relaxes the skin while soothing the mind by helping to induce a sense of well-being. Each individual essence is used to produce a specific beneficial effect.

Aromatherapy and essential oils are used effectively in treating and relieving the symptoms of specific ailments such as verruca, head lice, piles, gout, arthritis etc. It is also most effective when used to treat stress and mental fatigue and its associated symptoms.
